The PADI Divemaster course is your first level of professional training. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, you'll fine-tune your dive skills, like perfecting the effortless hover, and refine your rescue skills so you anticipate and easily solve common problems. You'll gain dive knowledge, management and supervision abilities so you become a role model to divers everywhere.

  • Rescue Diver certification or equivalent
  • EFR training within the past 24 months
  • Medical clearance signed by a doctor
  • Minimum 18 years old
  • Minimum of 40 logged dives
  • Swimming skills

Components

Course Components

The PADI Divemaster program is divided into 3 different components, theory, confined water training and open water training.
The theory introduces you to the qualities and knowledge required of a PADI Divemaster. With the use of the Divemaster DVDs and manual you will cover topics such as diving physics, diving physiology, diving equipment and more.
The confined water training and open water training will bring your dive skills up to the standards needed for demonstration and for leading divers on guided dives. You will complete various water skills and stamina exercises, testing your problem solving, organizational and leadership abilities. The culmination of the course involves some hands on dive mastering experience with our crew at Dive Club. Upon successful completion of the PADI Divemaster Exams, all confined water and open water exercises; you will have become one of the most sought after individuals in the diving industry, a PADI Divemaster.

What will you learn?

The PADI Divemaster course teaches you to be a leader and take charge of dive activities.
